Needed a vacuum pump and an adapter to install the Pioneer mini split 18k btu before opening refrigerant line. I bought a vacuum pump and it came with the adapter for mini the split. At first, I couldnt get the vacuum test to read -30 . After tightening the adapter a little, i got it to read -30 but it didnt hold the vacuum. Suspecting a bad adapter so I bought this after reading about Yellow Jacket brand the professionals use and its only few dollars more than the unknown brands. I was right. This adapter held the vacuum at -30 after 30min wait. I released the refrigerant and now I have working AC. !!!
