Greater than one weekReally good quality bottle and I loved it. But it came dented so I returned it. For $130 it better be flawless. Then I discovered the Coldest Water brand. Same design, almost identical. I ordered it and sure enough it was the same structure as the Yeti. I think they are all, even the hydro flask, are made by the same manufacturer. They’re all also made in China. I was really hoping the yeti was made in USA but it’s only designed in the states. The Coldest Water brand is the exact same but it’s $30 cheaper bc it’s a less known brand. AND it also has a straw so you don’t have to lift the entire gallon over your head to get a sip. The stainless steel gallon with water in it is very heavy. In any case, which ever one you get, it’s a very good investment bc bpa from plastic is highly cancerous. You don’t even know if the water inside plastic bottles are what they say they are. These bottles are out in the sun on pallets at the markets. Please switch over to stainless steel, whatever brand, to avoid bpa. It is so so bad. I am not being paid by any of these companies. I just hate the damage done by plastic.

> 3 dayAt first i was saying its way over priced and it kinda is, but its super durable and its been keeping my water cold and ice still ice for days at a time. I work in construction here in Hawaii where the suns hot and you NEED to drink a lot of water, this thing does exactly what i need it to do, to keep my water ice cold everytime i drink from it. Ive seen other jugs on the job sites ive been on and you see a lot of cracked covers, broken handles, and a lot of dented ones. So far its been taking the abuse well(i do take care of my stuff). Magnet on the top to hold the cap is awesome and super strong, love it. I have read before i bought this that its hard to take of the lid, yes it is hard sometimes but if your a man it shouldnt be so hard where you cant get it off lol

> 3 dayVery satisfied, I decided to splurge on myself for my birthday with the Yeti. I drink a gallon of water everyday and for years, Ive drank it was as it warmed throughout the day. Ive finally decided Im older now and deserve some cold water on the hotter days at work. This will keep ice for about 48 hours honestly, I bought two, 6 big cube trays for cheap and it was all well worth it. Trust me I was skeptical at first because for the price I could of got 2 or maybe 3 cheaper brand, but at the end of the day I only need one currently. Im a firm believer in that you get what you pay for and I believe if I would have went cheaper I wouldnt be as satisfied. **For the people that complained about the lid, it does help to open the cap first to help release the vacuum seal when opening. I will agree the lid IS tough at times (I find it most difficult in the mornings) but thats what makes the insulation so good. I have left this in my car on 90+ degree days, in the sun and still the water has been cold enough to give me brain freeze. Also! Side note, this can also be used as a small cooler for a couple sandwiches, etc., Or can be used for hot soup!!

> 3 dayI must say my gut clenched when I hit confirm for this because of the price. But my hubby spends hours in the field in the heat during harvest and the 1 & 2 qt jugs u can find weren’t enough. There was almost no choices for a gallon except for the very pricey (gulp) Yeti, and maybe some other random things that wudnt do. Yeti passed the test with flying colors! We’d load it with ice and water in the morning- and after spending hours either on the hot floor (engine heat?) of our little semi or in the combine- even if the ice was gone at the end of the day the water was still ice cold! We filled it two days ago to go for a picnic. It spent at least 7-8 hrs in very warm conditions. Came home and left it. 48 hours exactly from first filling it (and we had opened it to drink as is evidenced by the amnt in the pic) there was still decent sized ice chunks left! Amazing. If this thing lasts us for a long time I think I’ll be able to say it was worth the price- although seriously $129 (approx????) is plenty no matter the quality. That’s my only complaint. The magnetic holder to set ur lid on is very strong- so no excuses for losing that lid!!!!

> 3 dayI’m a excavator operator and I’d just buy the gallons at 7/11. But by 11 the waters already warm and nobody likes drinking warm water when you’re working hard. Probably best purchase I’ve done in a while. Now I’m drinking about 2 gallons a day, get lots of compliments as well. And I’m sure you can use it for self defense lol. I love it!

> 3 dayThe reviews for this product are absurd. Does not leak at all unless you dont close it right which is a plain truism. Ive seen reviews about people saying it is really hard to open the jug, but another truism, if you close it really tight it will always be really hard to open back up just like anything else. You have to close it just right and it doesnt leak and it opens easily. There are two weak point where you are supposed to press on to open the jug. That will be by pressing both of your thumbs on the side of the handle and using the rest of your fingers to open the bottle really simple. If have been looking to buy a one gallon jug for a while that contains your water cold, i truly recommend this one for your liking. I use this jug every day and i do clean it everyday and it is quick and simple. Dont be afraid of spending 140 bucks if you have the money it is really worth it.
