This puzzle is excellent! It is very high quality - the wood is sanded smooth with no rough edges to snag little fingers and the paint is beautiful and glossy with no chips. The pegs on each shape are the perfect size for small hands to hold. Each shape has its name printed on the base, and they are all spelled correctly. I especially appreciate that the puzzle says rhombus and not diamond. This puzzle is perfect for fine motor skills, spatial cognition, as well as shape and color recognition (there are two puzzle pieces of each of the 6 primary & secondary colors). Definitely a new favorite in our house!

Great quality and very smooth. Everything is literally perfect on it. No scuffs or paint chips or the paper at the bottom gets stuck to the puzzle piece. I’m absolutely thrilled with this puzzle. 12/10!

There are so many great things about this puzzle! Well made with bright colors that coordinate with the proper pieces. The little handles on each puzzle piece helps to position it into the slots and improve dexterity. It builds color recognition, shape recognition and even has words to grow vocabulary. Such a wonderful learning tool for toddlers. Excellent craftmanship, like toys from the 1960s. It would make a great gift too.

Colors are bright and as pictured. Pieces are smooth as is the background. Knobs are well attached (kids thought they were pacifiers, but hey). Shape names are spelled correctly. Good puzzle for teaching shapes & colors & encouraging a pencil grip on the knobs. Very pleased.

This 12 shape puzzle has knobs on each puzzle piece to make it easy for little hands to manipulate. The colors are vibrant and the name of each shape is under the puzzle piece. The wooden puzzle is durable and helps build shape and color recognition.
