> 3 dayProduct is dead on arrival. Not sure I will attempt a return as I had it reshipped out of the country to my home in Costa Rica and no way to return. I have quite a bit more YoLink gear at my home here, and I have been very happy with their products so far. No issues at all until this DOA plug.

> 3 dayShaft driven septic agitator. Agitators burn out in 4 or 5 yrs and new ones cost $500. If they get out of balance or tied up with hair, etc, they burn out sooner. Connected hub with ethranet cable. Main problem was QR code but soon figured out to just point my smartphone camera at the QR thingie, and the Yolink app did the rest. Have to do this for the hub AND for the smart plug. I plan to check this weekly and pull the agitator out to rebalance/clean if amps spike up sharply from the current 2.5 amps. Divide the watt reading by 115 volts to get the amps.

> 3 dayGreat to link with the temp sensors for easy automation of heaters. Nice 12.5 amp upgrade, older model was only 10 amps. Get it! Its the best.

> 3 dayThis review covers primarily the remote control and not the plugs. (The plugs are outstanding) The remote represents a step backwards in the otherwise outstanding technology represented by the YoLink product line. The remote will only control five individual devices. It will not at present control scenes. The superb addition of devices into a local system by scanning a printed code on the device does not apply to the remote. Instead it is back to pushing buttons, etc. a real retrograde! Do not recommend buying the remote until YoSmart gets the firmware upgraded to be in the same league as the remainder of this great product line. Come on, YoSmart. Get the remote up to speed!

> 3 dayIn the past couple months, Ive been trying some YoLink devices because of their range and because some have the ability to do things when there is no power. I put this particular plug on my refrigerator so I could monitor the energy usage. I discovered to my surprise that it has the ability to return to a pre-determined state in the event of a power outage or a blip in the power. I dont want my refrigerator staying off on a power interruption as some others do but return to the on state. I tried it and it works. I found the setup quite easy, too. BTW, I have absolutely zero connection to the company or Amazon but am just a happy customer.

> 3 dayUsed it to turn on/off a intex 14 Sand pool pump. Works with alexa, you can also monitor your power history... kinda nice. Contol this device with the YoLink app or your Alexa. Called support to ensure product will work with what I was trying to do. Very knowledgeable and kind. Solid unit.

> 3 dayInstead of binding directly to the router, these program-able plugs bind to the YoLink hub, thereby relieving the router of too many and less stable connections . Each hub can handle 300 different connected items. Best remote control plug on the market.
