I took a risk ordering it without checking if it fits. The center 2 seats headrests of my Buick only fold forward to collapse. They do not raise up. I thought maybe I could wedge it in but theres no room to do that at all. I ended up channeling my inner MacGyver and rigging it to the headrest using zip-ties and a thinner dog leash our dog never uses... I think it will work for our road trip, so I will just keep it and the spare parts parts for when we get a different car in a couple of years.

We bought this for a long car ride because I hate seeing my 8yo sons head hanging so low when he falls asleep in the car. Installed it before a long road trip after which my son asked to just keep them installed. One of the things I love is that you can just push them inline with the head rest when not in use. Theyre not in the way at all. Makes it handy since sleep sometimes sneaks up on you and cant be planned for. Now I wish I had another set for my seat. :) Highly recommended.

Easy to assemble and install. Easier to use. I bought this for my wife in anticipation of a 20+ hour drive. She used them to sleep through at least half of it and immediately fell in love. Ive ordered another one for our other car!

We bought 2 of these for the kids for a road trip, unfortunately we werent getting the rental car until the day we left so we knew this would be a gamble. We ended up with a 2021 Chrysler Voyager and these did NOT fit in the center captain seats. There wasnt enough space between the bottom of the headrest and the top of the seat for these to fit. We tried them out and they did fit in the third row seat, but that wouldnt work for us as we couldnt fit 2 booster seats back there (the latch points werent lined up with the headrests). I believe if they had fit, the kids would have had a better ride, but they made do without. If you can confirm theyll fit where you need them to, definitely seem worth the buy.

The installation was easy and only took a couple of minutes so that was a big plus! My 8-year-old daughter who uses a booster seat used it on a 9-hour car ride and then a week later used it on a 14-hour car ride and she has never slept as long or as soundly as she did with this headrest. I have since recommended this to quite a few people that are going on long drives with kids!

The only thing I have to say that I don’t like is that the plastic piece at the bottom of the head rest is uncomfortable but I purchased head rest pillows to cover it. They have been so great for road trips and late car rides. I love that you can move them out of the way for adults too. It being so adjustable made it work for a 6,7,8, and 10 year old.

It was great for my little one who uses booster seat, but my 10 yrs old one had an issue, since she is recently not using any booster. It doesnt support her neck as described/expected. But the seller let her use their products, and refunded for her one. I loved their courtesy and customer service. Just a suggestion to the company for the future inventory, please make that the headrest support all age levels. It is an uncomfortable experience overall for a transitional kid who has just started using back seat/has outgrown for booster, and is adjusting himself/herself to accommodate the situation.

When my kid transitioned from a car seat to a booster we were worried she’d break her neck. I’d look back and find her asleep in some contoured position only a child could get into. She would also fall asleep against the window, and if we were ever in a side impact collision I knew this would not be good. Enter these retractable headrests for the car. Pros 1) I got them the same color as our upholstery. They look like they are part of the car! 2) Easy to remove and install means we can easily transfer them between cars and even to rentals 3) Retractable when not in use means it doesn’t get lost like our old neck pillow, and it’s not rolling around on the minivan floor picking up dirt, lint, dog poo, and Cheerios. 4) Kiddo says it’s more comfortable than a neck pillow which means I don’t need to fight her to use it! Cons 1) honestly, none. Now I want one. 2) ok, I lied, maybe one con but it’s not the product’s fault. May not fit all vehicles. Make sure your headrest has bars for this to attach to and has enough space to grab on. We had a rental that did not have telescoping headrests and I couldn’t get these onto the bars. I blame the car. :) I’m honestly thinking of getting one for all seats.
