This little pocket printer is adorable, and so easy to use. I had it paired to my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10 plus) and printing about 5 minutes after charging it (via USB C, cable was included); it does require downloading the app, just search youdao printer in the Play Store. The app was intuitive, and has some cute templates for making lists or writing notes. Printing is a bit noisy, but it prints quickly, and the output is easy to read. My kids were super excited with the little lunchbox notes I printed out for them. The printer itself is tiny, small enough to toss in a purse or backpack (see my pics, standard coffee mug for reference), and it feels pretty sturdy, so Im not worried about it breaking easily. This printer is fun and easy to use, as well as being super portable. I would recommend it.

So much fun and super easy to use! The instructions included are simple and clear. Setup was as easy as turning on the printer, printing a QR code, scanning the code and downloading an app. Less than 5 minutes after unboxing, I was printing! The printer is bluetooth enabled so you can pair it with your smartphone or laptop. This is a thermal printer and requires no ink. You get one roll of thermal paper inside the machine to start you out. I contacted the Youdao company and they do sell thermal sticker paper for this product! Happy about that because they do have templates for label making in the app. Inside the app, you have options to print images, type your own notes, scan text, print a banner and have access to a template store, (which is free.) I noticed the only time you can change a fonts style and size is in the Text Print area. I included some screenshots from within the app. Im in love with this fun little printer and at 3 x 3, it really does fit in your pocket!

I had a ton of issues connecting it at first and I feel like support was a bit slow but now that its connected it works perfectly.

It printed fine the first time to make a sample. The app doesnt have many options in the template store and most are pretty childish. I was hoping to use this for quick receipts but to create one from scratch in the app is a pain. I will stick to quick notes or photos for fun.

This is the 3rd mini thermal printer I have tried, and the portability makes this a good option to have it with you everywhere you go for whatever purposes (your small business, fun, journal entry, etc). However, the quality of this printer including performance isn’t superior to other similar printers selling on Amazon. For the almost same specs, the price should be the most important consideration in my opinion. For that, this one wouldn’t be the first choice of mine. My recommendation is that you search for the mini bluetooth thermal printers and then choose what is the best deal at the time of your purchase (there have to be deals or coupons for at least some of the models). Don’t get me wrong, this one does what it is supposed to do, I just think you should buy the one that gives you the best cost performance at the time of your shopping.

This cute little printer is a blast. It prints nice quality black and white images on thermal paper. The app is really powerful and easy to use. Add text or images really easily. Paper is easy to reload and no ink means no running out. Definitely recommend

Never could get the printer to sync. Warning messages in Chinese. Also, my virus protection software kept warning me the app is suspicious. I love the idea of this printer but its not worth having my accounts hacked. Boo.

I use this to print out little memos and stick them around my work desk. Love it!
