Do not fear purchasing this Wii adapter replacement. While you cannot always trust that electronic items are as described, this item was a good replacement for a power supply for an older Wii console.

years ago our Wii got hit with a power surge in a storm. Kid is now old enough to play Mario cart and learn how the computer cheats. This has bought the Wii back to life and we have had hours of enjoyment watching the kid yell at Mario Cart for cheating.

Don’t you just love Amazon? They are the place to go for cords that are over priced and this company makes a great product for a decent price. I am glad we didn’t have to retire our wII because of an expensive cord cost. Functions good and came on time which was great .

Product arrived defective. After extensive troubleshooting I couldnt get the cord to work for more than five seconds. Beyond that, the product feels cheap and does not snugly fit in the wiis port. Do not buy.

This power supply is completely compatible with the original Nintendo Wii and powers it well.

Looks like the picture and works perfectly fine. Makes a weird noise when it connects to the wii and it doesn’t have the Nintendo brand name on it but otherwise it’s great. I’ve used it for only a day but so far so good.

This power adapter is missing a lot of circuitry that most replacement Wii power supplies have. Mainly the breaker is absent so if there is some kind of short in the Wii this supply would be potentially dangerous.
