Was a bit unsure about buying embroidery scissors without actually holding them and trying them out, but went with the reviews and could not have made a better choice. Exceptionally well made, VERY sharp, and despite somewhat broader than usual blades handle amazingly well - with very fine points. The fact that they are also charming in design is an added plus. More than pleased.

Absolutely beautiful scissors. Wonderfully sharp, but light and delicate, perfect for the cross stitch, embroidery or craft enthusiast. Beautiful, elegant color. For 8.50 dollars its probably the best deal you will come across. The quality is amazing! Please, dont spend your money on anything else! Absolutely charming to work with.

These scissors have a good weight and feel sturdy. Very sharp. I got these as a gift but could see my self buying a second pair to use for my self.

I bought these primarily to cut through thick double-sided adhesive strips (the over a millimeter thick kind, not tape/paper thickness) and it does so effortlessly. Well see how long they keep a good edge against it, but first impression is very positive. And theyre as beautiful as Id hoped. I couldnt tell in the picture, but some of the smaller curves especially near where the handle meets the blade are not openwork but have the recess filled with a shiny black enamel-like substance. Im sure this makes it much stronger, and it still looks very nice. Arrived with a little bit of oil on the blade, probably from the machining process, in pretty easy-to-open packaging.
