So far, so good. Working as expected. Has helped keep my tank clear.

They fit the fx5 with no problem. Keeps the water clean easy to remove and replace every month.

This is a piece of foam. There is absolutely no carbon inside it. Wash it, the water will run clear immediately. With a carbon infused sponge, water should have a light black tint. The original pad does exactly that.

My son manages a huge aquarium room. These were on his Christmas list. They were perfect.
