I use this silicone mat mainly for my hot comb and flat iron but you could use it for whatever hot hair tool you have. The highest heat i’ve use it on is 450 but i believe the highest temperature it can withstand is 460 degrees. And the hot pink color is really pretty :)

Does its job. Ive used them each several times now and it has done its job (I purchased two). Its flexible so it rolls up easily for storage or traveling, yet it still lays flat when you unroll it. Thick and soft, but durable. Only complaint was the odd smell when I first opened it. After a day of it sitting in the counter and airing out, the odor was gone. Decent price for the quality. I would buy another if the need arose.

Ever wonder if the hot flat iron you left at home will start a fire or something, even if you know you unplugged it? (Too dramatic). But, that always happen to me. Now, I don’t have to worry, because I know my iron is safe inside mat. Even if it’s still hot when I placed it in, it keeps it away from easily combustible materials. I like the gray (neutral color). I might get another color maybe pink. Love it!

Got this to put under my hot iron on the bathroom vanity so it did not damage it from getting too hot, grips the counter and grips your flat iron so it doesn’t fall off the counter. Works great.

I love the heat resistant. I like that my flat iron stays in place. Has a great grip

Will really help when packing up if you need to while still warm. Easy to hold in place on counter. The only thing I would change would be a way to anchor the cord when packed.

This is a great product for a great price. I recommend it. My hair straightener fit perfectly and I am able to put it straight into the cabinet after I use it. It protects my counter.
