Zilla Mini Halogen Lamp Reptile Bulb, 50-watt, Day Blue (3 Pack)

So far so good. I received a mini halogen with a terrarium kit that I had purchased. I was so excited by the small size and heat output that I went online to purchase more. The price of these was way better than what I was being offered by chain stores both online and in the store. I purchased six right off the bat. So far they seem to be doing well. I dont notice any difference in the activity or lack of activity from my animals. They seem to have adjusted well to them overnight. Im hoping that they will save me some money on electricity. I havent really noticed a difference yet because its only been a few weeks and I have not replaced all the lights in my terrariums. I will say this though... I mistakenly thought that these would not get that hot. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. I have glass plates that cover the top of my EXO terras to keep in the humidity. I put one of these lamps over the top of the glass in one of my terrariums. It proceeded to shatter in under 15 minutes. Yes, Im aware that that was a dumb thing to do. Im sharing it here so that other people dont make the same mistake. I hope to follow up in a few months to say that these are amazing and worth the money. So far Im thrilled

Considering this bulb should be replaced every 3-6 months the value couldn’t be any better.

Arrived safe and unbroken! Would order again! Beats having to run from pet store to pet store only to find they dont carry these bulbs or they are out of stock. Great choice.
