The zipper moves smoothly. I walk about 2.5 miles a day with it. The straps fall comfortably on my shoulders. I bought it because of the airflow design on the back and its slim profile. It expands enough to be able to put my jacket or coat in it in the afternoon. Love it. Down graded from 5 stars to 3stars. I still like it but the PU leather has started to peal back at the corners. It would be excellent with just the canvas and no PU. I can’t find anything similar. I do like the chest strap. The expandable feature allows me to get off the bus at the grocery store, pick up a six pack of beer and then get back on my way. The straps are comfortable. The purple doesn’t absorb heat in the summer like a black one. Wish they’d make on with just the canvass. I do love it. Right now I’m looking for one that’s more durable, light in color, expandable, and has a chest strap.

The main compartment opens fully making packing an ease. The hardware are solid and the materials used will definitely last a long time. The various compartments are a definite plus!!!

Tras documentarme durante unos días para ver qué mochila para mi ordenador compraba, después de leer las reseñas y ver las fotos del producto me decidí por esta de ZinmarkDirect. Cuando llegó la mochila, me di cuenta de que no era exactamente igual a las fotos que había visto en su listado en Amazon y se lo hice saber. No se trata de una mala mochila, pero las calidades y los acabados son diferentes, así que yo prefería comprar la que había visto. El equipo de postventa de ZinmarkDirect se puso en contacto conmigo inmediatamente y me hicieron saber que ahora mismo no contaban con la mochila que yo había visto anunciada, por lo que han decidido devolverme el importe pagado y permitirme quedarme con la mochila, lo cual me merece una impresión excepcional como vendedores.

It does everything it claims and it looks good. Seems well made. No complaints. I havent had it long enough to say if its durable. It does work well as a sling bag.

Lets not waste time, the let down is the laptop position which results in 2 issues, one is weight balance and the other is deformation. Now I will explain the significance, but with enough information for you to assess your situation. My laptop weights approx 2kg, it isnt light and that will exacerbate the issue. When the bag is fully compressed (i.e. not expanded), everything works a treat because the laptop sits right next to your back when you carry it. When the bag is fully expanded, the laptop sits in the section furthest away from your back which will be up to 10cm. It is a really weird feeling and you realise how important it is that the laptop is against your back when you carry it. The sciency reason is that we find things easier to carry when the centre of gravity of those things are closer to our bodys centre of gravity. Think about carrying a 5kg sack, or a baby, against your chest vs holding it out in front of you. Back to the backpack, I find myself having to lean forwards more which cant be ideal for posture, and there is a persistent feeling of someone pulling your backpack given the position of the laptop. It is weird. There are 2 subsets of issues with the expanding bit too, Ill touch on both because this really doesnt work well... The first is the non-ideal scenario where you expand the backpack to carry a couple of small items that dont completely fill out the space. The issue is the laptop itself is so heavy that it compresses and deformed the expanded area if there is space in there, which results in the backpack drooping. The second, is the ideal scenario where you fully fill the expanded area and dont suffer the deformation but still have the weight of the laptop feeling like its trying to pull you backwards. I really cant fault the quality or anything else about this backpack, but the 1 thing I do fault is very significant and I regret buying it. It will serve me for the time being in its non-expanded state, but if you want to make use of the expansion and have a heavy laptop, seriously look for a backpack where the laptop will always be sat right next to your back.
