My teenager saw this pencil case at the store and asked for it. I guess she thinks it looks fun. I bought it from amazon as a gift. Shhh! The case is covered in zippers, but the only functional zipper is the diagonal zipper in front of the mouth. The larger zipper teeth are not functional, nor are any of the other zippers. However, they are real zippers on both sides! I was suprised at this detail. The pouch is very roomy. I grabbed 15 pens, pencils, markers and highlighters and put them in the pouch to check the size. There was still room left for more! This product seems to be a good quality product that even appeals to teens! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

My GF has a 5 year old grand-daughter, and I think she has a dozen of these - shes crazy about them. Theyre well made and cute, plus theyre functional. Sure, you can unzip them all the way and have a useless, really long opened zipper - or just open them partially and use as a small case. While the inside teeth dont sipper closed (just for looks), the outer zipper does close. Inside dimension is approximately 3x8 and around 1.5 deep. These will fit any small items, pencils, Crayons, USB stuff and so on.

I cant handle how much I love these things.
