I use my ziplock steamer bags to steam broccoli. These ones worked just like previous ones I bought. Quick, easy to clean, and perfectly cooked.

My husband looked everywhere for these.....so happy to find them again....he has been using them for years. Great for fresh string beans, broccolli and other veggies.

Very simple…just cut-up veggies in desired size pieces, fill the bag and seal it. Steams perfectly in microwave in a few minutes. A staple in our kitchen.

I love these bags....cant find them in my local stores so I ordered them on Amazon and the price is like 4 times what they are/were in the store. Wont order again because too cost prohibitive.

I spotted these at the store today, and in my new quest to eat healthier, I though tto myself Hey, these look convenient. Stick veggies in, microwave, take veggis out. The hefty price tag almost put me off, but I decided to get a pack of 10 anyway, telling myself You get what you pay for, putting aside the voice of experience that tells me You get less than you pay for. So I grab a pack of them, along with a pack of veggies, thinking Id make my lunch at work in the microwave. I was wrong. I tried to open the first of 10. An dit was exceedingly difficult. I went in blind, and ripped it. Oh crap. I should be more careful. Ill study the next one to avoid wasting any more. I approach bag #2 cautiously, analyzing how its put together as to make sure I am not handling the product wrong. I notice that just below the zip n seal strip, the bag has a second seal. This seal is where the problem was. I carefully opened the zip strip, and tried to break the next seal. Bag #2 joined its older brother in the afterlife. Bag #3 was the next to die. Using even more caution, I managed to ruin this one the same way. Instead of the second seal coming apart, the bag rips. I continue on in that fashion, probing for weaknesses on bag #4, this time trying to work the seal open in one tiny spot, planning to slowly widen the opening. Poor, poor bag #4. Although I only opened a pinhole in the seal, i tstill took part of the bah with it. At this point, I am in disbelief. Was I doing something wrong? I took to the internet, searching for instructions, and for other bag ripping stories. I found no instructions, and a couple of other people who have had this issue. Disheartened, I returned to the task at hand, setting my sights on bag #5. Surely by now, Ive suffered enough. Surely by now, Ill have one remain in tact. What a fool I was. It suffered the same fate as all who came before. All I coul ddo now, was press on and hope for the best. And I do. I continue tearing through bags, like some kind of biblical destroyer, until at last, I reach bag #10. I set it aside the pile of its tortured brothers. Ive lost almost all hope. What reason had I to believe this one would be any different? None. But I opened it anyway. This one didnt rip. It shredded into ribbons. I was left with a pack of raw veggies, and a stack of shredded steamer bags. Fortunately, I had a trusty plastic container, which did the trick well enough. That is my tale. Learn from my mistakes.

Ive used these previously but never washed them and used over. Our grocery store (Publix) doesnt have them any longer. We use them often!
