I wanted something other than a planJane umbrella that could be for anybody. This umbrella fit the bill. Its feminine and works great. I love that it will fold up and go in my purse, even with the ruffles!

If you are looking for something well made and classy this is the one. So sexy!!!

The internal workings of the umbrella are not as sturdy as I had hoped. It’s a beautiful umbrella but I don’t think it will last very long.

I bought it for my wedding, ended up not using it and using it more after the fact. Living in Florida it cuts the heat like no one’s business and I sweat much less if not at all.

This item does not picture the inside gaudy fabric used which shows through in the seams of the outer side. The umbrella comes in a small open purse pouch and folds tightly which smashes the lace trim a lot. If wet, it would fold into an open vinyl pouch to puddle there. It does open fairly easily and is a nice size, but the interior fabric (vinyl) is loud and jazzy. Black?? really for a wedding or historical costuming? It probably will hold up to a light wind and be useful in a rainstorm if that is your intention. Might work for a Halloween prop?
