All the hangers came with mounting screws and anchors, but I mounted them on wood so I used dry wall screws. As the pictures show, we put heavy weight on the brackets and they take the weight fine. The rubber coating is thick and holds the tools well. I was so happy we bought 2 sets of brackets. Some are for holding tools and some for holding a ladder. Buy these to be happy.

nice and sturdy. even have holes for mounting using screws or bolts. Not enough different shapes and sizes but they work great.
