Greater than one weekI had some projects that were coming up and thought this might help with them. I didnt want to spend a lot of money if they didnt work for my needs. Today I pulled the 1/4 bit out put it in the router and about 30 sec in to the cut the baring screw came off. Thinking it was just a lose screw I proceeded to tighten it back up thats when I found that it was striped and just slides. I had to use the 3/8 bit to finish the cut Luckly it worked. Because I bought these is Feb, I can no longer return them so good news I didnt spend a lot of money on them. The 3/8 bit that i was able to use did fine with the red oak I was using it had minimum burn on end grain.

> 3 dayI really didn’t expect a bearing to seize during the first use. They do include a spare, but I’m disappointed I have to change it already. Besides the bearing problem, they work great. All in all, the bits stayed sharp after a good bit of use. I started spraying the bearings with wd40 every few passes. This kept the remaining bearings working.

Greater than one weekFor the 3 smaller bits everything seems to be perfect! Very happy. Unfortunately the 1.5” bit was the most important one I needed for my project. When I tried using it it was acting as if it wasn’t actually straight. I took it back out of my router and noticed the Allen screw was missing. (Luckily the package comes with spare Allen screws, bearing and collars which I very much appreciated!) so I replaced the Allan screw, and tried it again. Still it was acting like it wasn’t straight. Then I took it back out to see it and the Allen screw was missing AGAIN! Over all, this product is good for the .5”, .75” & 1”. They work absolutely perfect. But just beware of the 1.5”. Im afraid that using a 1.5” cutter on a 1/4” shank is maybe just too much power for a small shank.

> 3 dayIve only used these bits to make some recessed holes in some trays made of pine. They did a good job and made clean cuts. Thats all you can really ask for in a router bit.

> 3 dayHave used one bit from the set so far. Purchased the set to cut a piece of Masonite to match a template. It made a very smooth cut and I could not distinguish between the size of my work-piece the size of the template. Have no complaints about quality of these bits, particularly at this price point. The only negative comment I will make is that the carbide inserts look to be on the thin side. So, I would enter the material gently and I wouldnt take a heavy cut -- but Ive only got a small router with a 1/4 collet, so thats not a problem for me.
