Maybe I got a bad batch, but the 1st one almost immediately burnt out and the 2nd didnt last much longer either. :(

These are a scam and I want my money back, it’s sold as zoomed but unluckily for this seller I also bought at the same time the lightwise hood and it also comes with two tube lamps. To my surprise these at exactly the same tubes. I have now 4 fluorescent lights instead of the two uvb 10.0 tubes I asked for.

1 of the bulbs has already burned out after less than a month. My last set purchased at the local store lasted over a year.

Both lights do not work! The one light started sparking and produced a burning smell, and then when I took it out of the lamp cover and tried my usual uvb light in it I realized that it completely broke and ruined my lamp cover! Had to go buy another one for 80 bucks, save ur money!

According to the internet, this is one of the best lights for beardies, and it’s readily available in the US. For those reasons, this is the bulb I’ve been using since January, when I got a rescue 3 yr old bearded dragon. I recently took him to the vet because of some health concerns I had for him, and while there, the vet gave me a UV testing card, just to ensure he had a high UV output as a beardie should. Well... to my surprise.. the UV output is MINIMAL at best. Mind you, my enclosure is 2’ tall, but there are hammocks and things to climb on approx. 6-8” away from the bulb. I held the test card where my beardie can reach, and it barely indicated any UV presence at all. It did indicate strong sufficient UV when you held the card 1” away from the bulb, but no lizard is gonna be 1” away from this bulb in their enclosure. I also tested his old bulb (7 mo old) that his previous owner had, and the card showed that there was hardly a difference between the two. This is VERY concerning considering the health risks this could cause a bearded dragon! Very scary! After lots of research, I have ordered ARCADIA T5 HO 14% 22” bulb. Yes it’s double the price, but it’s a lot cheaper than a slew of vet visits. Not to mention the pain and suffering low UV can cause a bearded dragon. I’m hoping this new product will be better, and I will be leaving a review for that product when I get it. I would NOT recommend this product for a bearded dragon. I would highly encourage you to look at stronger options, even though they will cost more. If you have a pet that doesn’t need high outputs of UV, then this wouldn’t be a bad option. Also, one came broken, which sucks. Overall, I trust my vet, and will not be buying this product again.
