> 24 hourOrdered this for my chameleon off a suggestion from a youtube video and am happy that I did. Previously had a dome UVB light and this one fits perfectly across the top of my chameleons cage. Its definitely made her a lot happier being able to receive more lighting than the dome light! Definitely worth purchasing as well as it comes with one light in the hood that I purchased so the additional one is just backup for when the other goes out! SO SCORE all the way around!

Update: Amazons customer service assured me the replacement bulb would be sent in a box. Nope, another bulb in an envelope, although the second one did survive the trip.

> 24 hourI previously wrote that when the product arrived it did not work. Because it was a light bulb and was packaged in only an envelope, I was sure it had been damaged in transit. HOWEVER, the bulb DOES WORK. I did try it three times, but apparently it was operator error...my husband was finally able to get it adjusted properly and it does work. I apologize for my previous review, but I did, in fact, try several times to get it to work. I would recommend, perhaps, some better packaging, just to ensure no in-transit damage is done. Thank you.
