Zoo Med Naturalistic Terrarium Mesh (fits NT1,NT2) 12x12

One side was slightly too short, where it was a rectangle shape. The short side barely covered from both sides, whereas the dirt slightly came down to the hydro balls.

This mesh was a perfect barrier between our clay hydro balls and substrate in the gecko vivarium. It fit well in our 18x18 inch tank, with a little extra to fold over at the edges. Since the extra is covered by substrate, it’s not a problem at all.

This is a very nice mesh; it feels thick and sturdy, like it will last quite a while. Its easy to use because its cut to fit Zoo Med terrariums and its a perfect middle layer between my Hydroballs and fir bark substrate (no more picking Hydroballs out- yay!). Id recommend this item because of the quality and convenience factor. Yes, you could probably go to a hardware store and buy two or three times more mesh for the same price but with this product you have the peace of mind that it is reptile-safe and its already the right size; plus it is made with reptile-owners in mind, which is probably why the quality is so good- to be able to withstand high humidity.

Use with the Hydro balls as a top layer before adding your eco earth, or Plantation soil, for optimal moisture, and humidity levels.

Bought for my 10 gallon bioactive enclosure. Fits perfectly and serves it purpose.

Worked great for our salamander terrarium. Easy to install.

I was not a fan of the biodrain mesh and I found this one much better!!

Does exactly what I needed it to, separated the substrate well. Coco fiber and bio balls are not mixed due to this barrier, it was doubled up.

I used the netting for the different terrarium layers and to build a pond. It held up really well and still is working great. I would definitely recommend this mesh for terrarium building.
