Zoo Med Repti Basking Lamp 50 Watt for Reptiles

This was a plastic toy. Did not work . Would not recommend

Just what I was looking for... found it fast and easy... arrived on time

The first time i got a basking bulb of this kind it cooked my first turtle,(75 watts only 3 inches away)but for this 50 watt its a differnt story my turtles always bask now. Buy it and dont over heat your baby yellow baby rescue :(

Bought this light and it burned out the day I received it . Id give it zero stars ,but I cant submit a review without at least one.

Updated: 7 weeks the first one lasted, and the second one was 5 weeks, yes, just over a month. Original: This is decent, probably like every other heat lamp, don’t last nearly as long as we would like, but they’re decent

I purchased this item based on the reviews. I used this for an aquatic turtle tank 8-10 hours per day. It burned out after a few weeks of use, although it did work well for the short time it lasted.

Turtles love it and probably gives off better heat than any others Ive tried. Just keep a close eye on your temps and adjust your lamp height as necessary.

I had this on for 10 hours and the next day it was burned out. I’ve purchased this bulb before without problems.

You just cannot beat the price of this bulb. It cost about twice as much as my local pet stores.
