> 3 dayI bought this about a month back and it burnt out. The funny part is I had bought the same one before and it had lasted me over a year. So this time I purchased even without looking at the reviews. I am going to get another one, and also call the Customer service to see if I can get a replacement for this one.

> 3 dayThis size/wattage is perfect for our little green Anole. Gets just warm enough for him without it making the lamp too hot.

> 3 dayOrdered two 4 months ago and they have both burned out. I have the light set on a timer that runs 10 hours a day. I think that these lamps should work for more than 600 hours... On 4/20/2013 I emailed the manufacturer to inquire if there had been a bad batch of bulbs because of the previously mentioned conditions. They replied that these bulbs are covered by a 90-day warranty and if I supplied them with a copy of my receipt from Amazon the bulbs would be replaced. I did and they shipped two replacement bulbs to me. I raised my rating from 2 to 4 stars based on this warranty coverage, but I may change that AGAIN if these replacements wear out as quickly as the first two!

> 3 dayFor my Cuban Anole I use all Zoo Med products these 50 watts arent over powerful and will not dry out the small cage to bad. I use this with a hanging lamp. The average life span of this bulbs varies but so far Ive gotten a steady 9 months from one (not bad considering the amount of usage daily). Priced at about 5 dollars great buy and excellent to keep a spare.

> 3 dayTurtles love it and probably gives off better heat than any others Ive tried. Just keep a close eye on your temps and adjust your lamp height as necessary.
