Zoo Med Repti Basking Lamps 75 Watt (4 Pack)

We have a wood turtle who requires basking bulbs. We have been using Zoo Med products for years and were happy to a see a 4 pack available for these bulbs. They do exactly what the turtle needs and its nice to know we have back ups when we need them.

We use these bulbs in the summer since it gets super hot it our room and the switch to a higher watt level, pretty good price and quality.

Got what I wanted. Considerably less expensive than in the local stores.

Opened the package wearily as I could already hear glass inside. Bulbs arrived broken :-(

I like ZooMed bulbs. Theres nothing wrong with them, and I use them in different styles and wattages for my reptiles ranging from a monkey-tailed skink to bearded dragons. In the future, however, I will buy these bulbs when I travel to a local city. The reason for this is, if a bulb is broken during shipping from Amazon, THE BUYER is now going to have to get the return package to the UPS store or a drop-off OR pay $7.99 (yep!) for the box to be picked up. Its okay for a person who lives near an UPS drop-off. (Theres supposed to be a box about 3-4 miles from our house, I found out.) BUT this is NOT free return shipping, and people need to know about it beforehand. This policy is probably to offset shipping charges, but when I have to pay $8 to return something broken in the mail, that negates my savings shopping with Amazon. Your mileage may vary. Just be aware.

I bought the 4 pack of 75w Bulbs for my beardie. This brand may be a bit overpriced but my prickly lil dude loves to bask and these bulbs have great basking beams. I was a bit skeptical about buying any kind of a light bulb that would be shipped to my house figuring I would have breakage or quick burnout bulbs but...SO FAR SO GOOD. STILL on bulb #1 and its been easily 2 months ago that I bought them and I run them ALL DAY from the time i wake up until the time i crash. My luck I am using the only 1 of the 4 that is worth a damn and the rest will fail in a week so this review will be updated.

I use these bulbs for my aquatic turtles and they love the heat. The bulbs seem to last a lot longer than others I have tried. Very satisfied

Update: The company corrected the issue for the fourth bulb with no problem in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend this company and product. We paid for a 4 pk and only got 3. Have not heard from them since we submitted a request for the additional basking light.
