> 3 dayThis replaces the Apple cover, which leaves the sides cold for reading in bed, etc. The propping up mechanism is ideal -no slipping. With the magnet it stays in place. The whole construction is sturdy and I feel my iPad is better protected. It also leaves both hands free. Nice colour choices too. Once my husband saw me using mine, he ordered one too and loves it.

> 3 dayIt lasted for 3 years of daily use before the cover starting letting go at the top and at the open tab. The open tab is worse because the metal tab is very sharp so you must be careful. Other than the cover failure it has been a very sturdy case to use. It does add a ton of extra weight to the iPad though. I’m not sure I’d buy it again as I could have just as well got a new case each year for about 20 bucks and chunked it but all in all I’d give it 3 stars for almost 3 years of loyal service. The back of the case is still perfect. Just the front cover which gets touched each time you use it is worn out.
