Works wonderful for the 12.9 pro 4th gen. Didnt have any issues getting the ipad into the case and probably will never remove it. Only way I could see you having issues is if you put it in from the wrong direction (not buttons first). Provides good protection and is a wonderful stand. Much nicer than any of the others Ive used. Charging slot is completely adequate.

This is the absolute best case for an iPad out there. I’ve had 3 for different size iPads. It’s extremely sturdy and doesn’t wrap around into the iPad screen like some. The best thing is the stand is magnetized and has several notches for different angles. The corners are hard and rounded to fit the iPad perfectly. There’s a place for a pen on the back. When you close the cover it turns the iPad off and you can hear a “click” so you know it’s off. Highly recommended.

I ordered for my ipad pro 12.9 inch and my husband loved it so much we ordered him one for his ipad pro 11 inch. These are very sturdy and the different angles are so handy. We didnt have any problem getting them on as some others have suggested. Someone posted to put bottom corners in first, then top right and then the corner over the camera. This worked out well on both ipads and didnt crack the screen on either. Buttons also work very well on both sizes.
