It has met, and exceeded my expectations. I havent actually dropped my new iPad yet (yay), but the case appears well-designed to absorb a fall. > 3 dayMy son ordered this case for his new iPad and I was very impressed. I have a case from a different brand on my iPad Pro 9.7 and, while it has held up well over the years, this case looks every bit as nice and has some features that are improved over the one I own. The sleeve for Apple Pencil storage is well placed and should hold up better than the one I have, and the magnets are strong enough to hold the iPad on a vertical metal surface if you want to mount it for hands free operation. This looks like a winner after about 2 weeks of use, and I am considering buying one, if they have it, for my iPD Pro.
