The case is very protective. The different positions for the stand are good for cutting down glare. Has a snug fit that causes bubbles under my screen protector (it’s slightly off of center).

Protect Apple tablet:

I was using Otterbox Symmetry 360. The only thing I didnt like was how it propped up when I was using it to watch videos. The little triangular wedge was only secure when it was on a perfectly smooth level surface. This Zugu case is great for viewing videos. The viewing angle can be adjusted and is also very stable. The only downside is it does take up more surface space. Other than that, it seems almost as protective as Otterbox. Almost.

The 4th generation case was absolutely incredible. I’m happy to say the 5th generation one is just as good, after fiddling with both the previous one and this one side by side they feel the same in every way(which is good) except one; the power button on this new case somehow has a better tactile feel to me which is great, this could be more on the iPad than the case but I noticed it more in the case.

So I’ve gone through 3 different cases trying to find one that works properly. I felt like Goldilocks. The first one was a Speigen. I went through 2 of those. Pros: it had 3 deep grooves and a rotating case that was sturdy. But it broke within 4 months. I tried Fintie. Beautiful artwork, 360 rotation, but the grooves failed within a month and there were not enough angles. Tried another case a few weeks ago. It was magnetic, so it supported vertical and horizontal, but it was super fussy and the magnetism was already failing after 2 weeks. This case just works. It’s VERY well made. It supports many different angles, including vertical. The grooves are magnetic, so it doesn’t constantly slip out of the groove. Just trust me and learn from my costly mistakes- yes, it’s expensive, but it is SO worth it.
