Greater than one weekUnfortunately, it collapsed immediately facing these strong storms in SF the other day. I opened it up and it was OK for a while and then a strong wind came. I wasnt even facing the direction in which the wind was blowing. This umbrella would be good for rain but IS NOT WINDPROOF

> 3 dayThis umbrella is large enough to keep you dry in the rain, yet folds down really small. This is great for carrying in a purse or backpack. The design is interesting and fun- having the beach pattern on the inside with a black exterior is the reverse of what is usually on an umbrella. My 12 year old daughter needed an umbrella to put in her school backpack. She and her friends think it’s awesome. The exterior material is thick and feels durable. The spokes are a little tight to get folded back in. I think with more use they will be easier to fold down all the way.

> 3 day1.stinks horrible 2. Will not open correctly and won’t close correctly. 3. Wires bent on inside. 4. Did I mention it stinks horribly…. Like tire rot.

> 3 dayThe umbrella broke during the first use. It would not collapse. Also, once the cover is taken off the umbrella, don’t plan to ever get it back on again.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is very sturdy and even though it is compact to carry, it opens to a large size. The graphic is striking on the black background, and it gets many compliments! It comesbin a pretty, black velvet sheath too!

> 3 dayIve only had the chance to use this once but it did a great job of keeping the rain off of me. It opens with the push of a button. It closes by pulling down the top. There is a strap to keep the excess material under control when not in use. It was very windy when I was using it and it did not invert.
