Great little converter so far. Xbox 360 games are now alot more crisp on my flat screen than before when using the component cable. Only had it a couple of weeks so far.

Hello Folks. Just an FYI, if you have the HDMI connection with your XBOX 360, use a standard HDMI cable. This is over priced and any standard cable will work. But if you want to spend your money, just forward it to me ;) cheers.

Easy plug and play. Image quality is ok. Only gripe that it needs a separate power supply. Nostalgia feels, and that’s worth every penny.

I have an Xbox 360 without the HDMI connection. Which was fine when I bought the thing forever ago but not great in 2023. I had been using the VGA connection until I got a new Sony tv with only HDMI. This device is an affordable way to add HDMI to an Xbox 360, which I still play Rock Band 3 with the Fender guitar with strings and button fret board.

The converter works 100% as intended - takes the COMPONENT video signal and converts to HDMI. No scaling - purely, for example, 720P Component -> 720P HDMI (resolution based on settings within Xbox 360 Dashboard). I purchased this specifically since the seller had listed that it did NOT require external USB power; in fact, it DOES require USB, which you can take from either the back of the Xbox (if not using a WiFi adapter) or from the included wall plug. The only drawback, for me, with this setup is that the HDMI signal is then ALWAYS on, which means that my HDMI switch never knows when the Xbox itself powers on. Because of this, Ive had to run the USB to one of the front ports and then plug it in each time I want to use the Xbox. Not ideal - would have preferred it to turn on w/ the Xbox. I have one of the old Mad Catz converters and it draws power from the A/V port, so it only has power when the system turns on. My suggestion would be for the seller to have this converter also do that.

I keep losing connection when hooked up to xbox so Im thinking the wire is faulty, I keep having to push it in in the back where its connected to my TV. Not to happy about that
