when in tablet mode, touch screen and pop up keyboard may or may not work. you really have to push hard on the touch screen to get it to work sometimes.

This product was a wast of money I brought it brand new and it stopped working 5 months after having it. I’m incredibly disappointed.

Bought for my 12 year old daughter. I have a Lenovo Chromebook and enjoy it, and thought this would be a good replacement for her old Toshiba running Win 10. I am pleasantly surprised with the Acer, especially with the keyboard and screen. I have been an IT Director for large companies for nearly 20 years, and this notebook is hands down better than any sub $500 Win PC

I just got this and I am transferring from my Kindle Fire 10 (which I will never give up) . But I am pleasantly surprised every time I open the Acer to do something new. No problem installing games from the Fire to this. Or things like FaceBook. It is just slick. The machine is faster than what I am used to. The screen gives you the greatest pictures And You Tube flicks are easy to get stuck watching all afternoon. I think it would be good for a pro. And I know it would be good for a student or new user. And I want to add my friends are already jealous that I also have a Touch Screen and can use the on screen keyboard. I also like the weight. It doesnt feel like a toy from Wal-Mart. I think this will be able to take a few bumps and bruises. It is built tight if that makes sense. The other reviews if you read between the lines some of them sound like they bought it for grand dad and he didnt know what he was doing, so of course it becomes the machines fault so they can return it. And what made my final decision was the price.

In the Item description it says Intel Quad-Core MediaTek MT8173C - this is actually an ARM processor - so be ware if youre going to try to run Linux on your Chrombook.

The computer works wonderfully. Really happy with it and for work it’s amazing. The touch screen works great and battery lasts even longer than it says on the product. Extremely light as well super great fit for someone who works from many different places.

Was not so sure aboout the touch screen but all I can say isWhy didnt I buy this sooner?. Very versatile and has a great screen.Colors are vivid and very detailed.Definitely a great buy!!!

Very pleased with this purchase a little over half a year later. Built very solidly, yet light when carrying. Touchscreen response is great, works really well and that was the reason I selected this model. Very satisfied, no compliants at all.

This is the second Chromebook that I have purchased and both stopped charging because the cable wont stay connected. Do not buy!
