First of all, they scratch. Tried them out on file cabinets at work. The slightest tension and the slipping begins, causing scratches. I bought these to use to hang some metal baskets on my fridge. One to hold k cups. The basket weighs approximately 1 lb. I used THREE hooks and didnt even bother to try putting anything in the basket, already not sturdy. Each hook says it can hold up to 5.5 lbs. The magnet is slightly recessed in the setting which probably doesnt help. The vertical hang seems to have the most powerful grip but the hook part needs a tighter angle.

Used these on a cruise, able to put them almost anywhere, even used for a closeline strung between 2 hooks to hold wet bathing suits to dry. Very sturdy. Plan to use again and again.

They can hold a lot of weight. Sometimes they slip on bumpy roads, and they do spin on the magnet and have to be tightened sometimes. Im sure that could be fixed with an adhesive. Been using them for over a year and I recommend them for organizing small tools and truck compartments.

We are using these on our bbq to hang tools and near the garage door to hang masks, dog leash and collar. Vertical hold is definitely better than horizontal but its holding everything we have on it just fine. Overall these have been very useful and I may order more for things around the house.

I was skeptical at first. But these work great everywhere. They are even strong enough to attach to the screws and nails in the drywall with decent force! Great buy!
