> 24 hourI like to use these kinds of abrasive wheels in my foredom clone to clean up CNCed 3D carvings. They make quick work of getting into all but the tightest nooks and crannies. The 120 grit wheels do a good job of removing residual tool marks and then a quicker pass with 180s and maybe 320s and I’m done. The finer grits would probably work well to clean up metal surfaces.

> 24 hourThe grits dont seem to be quite what the image says and the shafts are smaller than 1/8 enough that they spun freely while using standard Dremel collets. Unless you have the Dremel chuck you may not be able to use these without modification to your rotary tool collett or the bits themselves.

> 24 hourNormally in polishing your shaping comes first. Once the surface is shaped and flat ie smooth then you can start working your way though the grits of sand paper removing any Mill marks or sanding of the previous grit. these make quick work of working your way though the grits to get to that dull shine with the grey pad. Subjective Cons: (1) The brown pad (or rough grit) wears out the quickest. (2) Although these are small they are not small enough for the tightest of areas. (3) Will heat up your electric rotary tool as these are fun to use. (4) Just like any other rotary cutting tool these will catch corners and force your tool in the wrong direction Pros: (1) These are much easier to use then sand paper even on larger surfaces. (2)Even though these do ware out they do a lot of work before they are unusable. (3) The low grit Brown (roughest) pad will not shape (remove surface metal) but will follow the current shape rounding edges slightly. I suggest getting 2 packs of these if your going to be using these for more then one small project. Im rebuilding a motor with a ton of parts to clean and polish. I have yet to get though the rough fast wearing pad yet but getting down there. Clean oils and grease off the surfaces first as these will smear it across your surface. Unless your oil,wet sanding.

> 24 hourThese handy little buffing wheels can be installed in a variety of tools and are a no-brainer to have in a home repair tool kit. The obvious use for these are on projects that you might think of using steel wool on, like removing rust. The advantage is that these are spinning, so they will remove rust faster. Given the various grits, you can avry how aggressive you want to be. The only downside to me is that they are shipped in a plain brown box which has no indication at all of what grits the colors are. How hard would it have been to include a 3x5 card with that key? Ive deducted a star for that omission to an otherwise great product that I can personally see using for many projects around the house.

> 24 hourThis set gives a good range of grits. It is low cost and they work well in a hand rotary tool. Depending on your project these can wear out quickly, but you do get a fair amount of them for the cost. Overall this set provides a high quantity and variety of grits making it a decent deal.

> 24 hourI guess Im the only one with this problem? Shank size is just slightly to small, wont stay in the dremel. After looking I think standard Dremel shank is 3.2mm.
