Very simply. I like when a product performs as it is designed to. Even better when it performs above and beyond that. I am using this product for removing rust on a motorcycle renovation project and performance is beyond what I expected. I have not tried to get a high polish yet. The best I’ve done is a satin/matte finish. But, if you do, try it on a scrap piece before you do the final polish.

Not very abrasive. Did not come with a grit color code card. Two of the abrasives are so similar in color they are hard to differentiate. Wear safety glasses, they definitely shed wheel material which will fly towards your eyes. Not very durable, quick money turn around for the retailers even using only the slightest pressure.

These handy little buffing wheels can be installed in a variety of tools and are a no-brainer to have in a home repair tool kit. The obvious use for these are on projects that you might think of using steel wool on, like removing rust. The advantage is that these are spinning, so they will remove rust faster. Given the various grits, you can avry how aggressive you want to be. The only downside to me is that they are shipped in a plain brown box which has no indication at all of what grits the colors are. How hard would it have been to include a 3x5 card with that key? Ive deducted a star for that omission to an otherwise great product that I can personally see using for many projects around the house.

Not very sure about how well these hold up ,seems so far one wheel only last about 5 min or so on different surfaces but Ive only tried out all the colors about twice now so maybe its not all of them idk. Oh and these also leaves color stain on some surfaces maybe have to wash before use idk

They work well. Polish metal, remove paint, whatever. What they dont do is last beyond just a few seconds.

I do scroll saw work and most of the time the scroll saw blade will leave little fragments of wood especially on the bottom of the piece being cut. It normally takes me a considerable amount of time to remove this rough Edge. But with this little sanding device I find my Dremel tool can quickly smooth all surfaces in a matter of minutes saving me literally hours of time over the month.

I recently started dabbling in metal work, and these have been fantastic for polishing small areas or pieces. They clasp tightly in the jaws of my rotary tool, and are a good size to balance precise control with surface area coverage. The one thing I would have liked would have been an insert in the box detail the different grit levels soni could easily tell which are finer and which are more coarse.

For the most part these polishers do exactly what you would want - grind away material. I felt like there wasnt as much of a difference between grits as I expected and they didnt last quite as long as I thought they should, but that could be a misjudgement on my part and no fault of the the polishers.
