My network has been blown out a few times from lightning hitting my cable modem. So I isolated it with these devices, keeping my cable modem on a separate power source and isolating the Ethernet line with a patch cord of Fiber. So far so good. Wish they gave us a GBIC option on cable modems, they are so susceptible to surges.

Easy to use, fast to set up, clean signal, right priced converters. I have bought several of these for hardwired desktop conversion. The signal is fast and clean, no glitches. I needed a high integrity signal for a secure VPN and these provided it. Great products.

I used these in combination with a 150 ft fiber line running between my modem and my router. They work great and are still working to this day. Would recommend.

光アイソレーションの効果なのか、ネットワーク速度が明らかに早くなった。汎用性を高めるため小型ONUをhgwに直結させるより、このメディアコンバータを間に入れ、RJ45に一旦変換して使用していますが大正解でした。 10GTekの製品は他にもsfp+ケーブルやRJ45-sfp+変換トランシーバー等を利用してますが、どれも高品質で大変満足しています。

Got this to run fibre from my home office to the front room so the smart TV didnt keep buffering over wifi, so easy to use just plug and play with one at each of the fibre cable and all my buffering problems have gone.

few years back I was using some small media converters like these and if it got too warm or over used they needed to be restarted. These work non-stop and perform as specd. Would recommend if you have a hot location to place, though they are not IP rated for outdoor contact they are surviving quite well in hot communication box without issues at all.
