Easiest way I have found to hook up things. Used to connect LED strips and other lighting.

These connectors work well with one exception. It may be of my own doing, but the screws at the wire terminals did not hold the wire well when tightened. I had to really torque down on the screw, and/or re-strip and reinsert the wire a few times before I had a good, tight connection. That could just be the wire I was using, or something else. Anyway, that was my experience.

My wife bought 3 each LED lighted stems with red berries on them to make a lighted floral display. The LED lights came with a battery box that had 3 AA batteries for each of the 3 strings of lights. My experience with battery lighted Christmas globes recently and how often I had to change out the run down batteries led me to using a plug in power supply to light up all 60 of the LED lights from one power supply. To do this, I needed to hook up all of the wires to the plus and minus 5 volt wires of the power supply. The mating connectors I purchased allowed me to do just that, and now all 60 of the LED lights come on at the same time when the power supply is plugged in. The screw terminals on the male and female connectors hold the power wires for the LED lights perfectly with a very nice electrical connection. I tinned the power supply wires as well as the LED wires with solder to make a better electrical connection, and that worked very well. I will certainly look into changing the 8 battery powered Christmas snow globes my wife has over to electricity using these power connectors so that I dont have to keep replacing run down batteries next Christmas. These were just the right connectors I needed to do this job, and the metal screws in the connector bodies hold the solder tinned wires in the male and female power connectors well. I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend them for similar projects.

excellent can tighten screws very tight good solid fit works as common power supply hook up very common and totaly usefull alot on many products many cords plug ins i will be adopting these for my hook-ups as well
