16-04-2025Broad nibs lay down a nice wide line and makes covering big areas easy. The opacity is very good. In the past I thought that the Molotow acrylic markers were the best but the POSCA markers are now my favorite and I will be buying some fine tip markers soon. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI tested these out last evening and they all worked fine. When each one is activated, you do have to press down on the tip, a half dozen times or so, before the paint begins to flow. I played around a bit, and was very happy with them. There wasnt any noticeable shift in color when dry. Do be sure any paint is dry before you go over it with another color though. Otherwise you will get the first color on the tip of the new color pen. This happened to me. I quickly released more color; dabbed at the tip with a wet paper towel, and it cleaned up fine. I would use another blending tool, if you like to blend when you paint. I am not a blender/painter, so I didnt test that out. Another thing I did test though was using it to ink up some home made stamps made of craft foam. They worked beautifully for that application. These will be great for art journaling. Because all of the information was in another language, I do not have any idea of the lightfast ratings. I would not use them in any fine art pieces. The pigment load seems good though, and as mentioned before; dry true to color.

> 3 dayThese are acrylic paint markers so they do not dry instantly like oil-based paint markers and aren’t ment for all surfaces . But the quality of paint and how opaque they are is awesome! Great vibrant colors that actually match the cap color. They last a good while as well. Just remember to shake them up before each use.

> 3 dayIve had these markers for about four months now and though i do jot use them continuously, i have made several large projects such as the big menu board pictured and i still get very good ink payoff. They are really easy to use and dont leak at all, which is something that tends to happen to other cheaper paint pens. The colors are bright and opaque. They are also great for layering but you do have to make sure that the ink has dried completely, which only takes a couple of minutes. They can write on almost any surface. The nib is soft but firm enough to hold its shape, though i would recommend against pressing down too hard as it could destroy the tip and render the marker useless. It only takes a few shakes or a couple pumps on the tip to get ink flowing. Overall this is a great marker that i highly recommend for artists who want to learn a new medium and are well worth the price.

16-04-2025I specifically chose this listing over other cheaper options because of the lack of Asian language characters in the images shown. I know nothing of these paint markers, only that they were on a high school nephew’s Christmas list. It may sound ridiculous or pretentious, but I know kids can get made fun of for getting ‘off brand’ and cheaper items they take to school, hence why I specifically chose this listing. Accurate photos should be shown. My rating purposely does not reflect the quality or longevity of these markers as they were just delivered. I’ll update this review if I hear of poor quality.
