Connector does not fit my monitor even though the monitor was listed in the description.

Does not work for HP2711x monitor.

This adapter was exactly what I needed when my old one died, and Amazon got it to me in a flash!

My son had this monitor sitting around and when I decided to use it found out that he had lost the power adapter. Looked for it around town and all I could find were old, used adapters that cost at least $15. Amazon came to the rescue again with an adapter that was brand new, a perfect fit, and cheaper than local alternatives. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone facing the same situation. No point in buying a new monitor when for less than $15 you can use what you have. Definitely recommend.

Received a monitor as a gift but came with no cord. Found this on Amazon. Works great.

My major concern was compatibility with my specific monitor. I have an HP X6W26AA which is an HP 24ea 23.8-inch display. This item worked just fine. I have been using it for about 1 month - just fine. Plus - the cord is pretty long - did not measure it - but my AC outlet is rather far away - not a problem.
