1piece High Temperature Sharp Hardened Tool Steel MK8 Nozzles 0.4mm for 1.75mm Makerbot, Creality CR-10 All Metal Hotend, Ender 3/ Ender3 pro, CraftBot, Prusa i3 3D Printer

Great upgrade for my CR10S.

Ive had this nozzle a while its held up perfectly but an issue Im running into is now is that the size of the nozzle isnt on the nozzle anywhere. I had to come to my Amazon order history to confirm that I ordered a .4mm. Maybe I could eyeball it against another .4mm brass nozzle but thats not great. Currently this is the only hardened nozzle I own but that will be changing soon. Ill have to be sure that my next nozzle has the size on it so I can at least use process of elimination to identify this one as the .4

I put quite a bit of carbon fiber filament through this nozzle, and it still prints like the first time! Excellent nozzle I highly recommend it!

I will need to update. Havent tried to print anything yet. Looked under microscope and seems less round than free nozzle that came with some filament. Could be a brass vs steel thing but seems very rough. Maybe performance will be fine. Ive attached a photo of each.

Easily clogged. For my test run I printed Benchy and printed just fine. Second one I printed octopus for something a little bit bigger and 10 mins left on my timer that’s when I noticed a bad print and the nozzle started showing some goop around it. Third print was the octopi camera case and that’s when it totally clogged.

First nozzle wore out after 1/2 a roll of filament. I decided to get a good look of my second and the machined surfaces are jagged and terrible. This is also not a good hardened steel, a file eats right through it. Took a close up picture of an un used second, and it looks horrible.

I could not get this nozzle to work well on my Ender 3 Pro. Please keep in mind maybe i am doing it wrong. However i used other nozzles on my printers perfectly fine. But this one would not print right, I think I got the wrong size! It looks smaller than my usual 0.4 Nozzles. Perhaps this is why. It also leaked on me alot.

Pretty good, just sucks you cant tell what size it is bc there no ingrained on it

Worked well for Glow in the Dark filament so far. Im constantly printing so well see how long it lasts

I had issues getting this on, because the Ender 3 wrenches dont fit it. It is also much shorter than the stock nozzle and now it doesnt sit below my fan ring, causing it to hit prints if there is any Z expansion. Will not buy this again.
