> 24 hourSeems to work fair. Unit gets hot when running over 250 rpm. Head also slips to change angle if pressure is used during sanding.

> 24 hourIve used this on two different style bowls I turned. I find it works best on the outside (convex) and with larger diameter bowls like 7 or so. With smaller diameter it wants to skip along the surface. Inside of a bowl the tool works best with a larger diameter so the pad contacts more of the surface. It would be nice to have interchangeable disks with some concave, some convex as well as flat.

> 24 hourIve purchased this sander twice. The first time in 2020, it had a black rubber head, completely different set up and was great. I bought a second last year as a backup and finally burnt out the first one. I knew the second one looked different but figured it would work just the same. Wrong. The second one has this white foam pad that is larger than 2. As other reviewers have stated, no 2 sand paper fits this sander correctly. If you like sanding the inside curves of your bowls with velcro, this is the sander for you. Save your money till they fix this issue. The diameter of the sander head should be less than the size of the sandpaper.
