I bought because I wanted a pole sander for the lathe

A bit of a learning curve, but as I get used to it, it gets better all the time.

This product is well made and has a good design.

First time I’ve used one but it works great and I would recommend to friends

when it arrived the head was not straight with the shaft and cant be fixed... basically a throw away. I replaced the head with one that came in a different kit with more sand paper.

The spindle for the sanding head is a sloppy fit in its bushing, so it always chatters. I ended up using the sandpaper pads without the tool.

Initially I was happy to start using this sander. I have only turned two small bowls and used this to sand. Bearings are already making noise and when used get hot and start to resist spinning. No instead of saving money I’m $25 in the hole for buying a quality unit. You get what you pay for. No recommended.
