> 3 dayWe liked the sturdiness of this product. After using a wire mesh type of strainer this one beats it hands down. Over time the wire mesh gets banged and bent up. That ain’t going to happen with this strainer. It’s chrome finish also looks great in the drain basket.

Greater than one weekIm very conscience about what goes down my drain, in fact I keep an empty 10-15oz soup can in my freezer for leftover grease from my cooking. The screen I had before this one was exactly that a screen and it was an issue to clean with debris clogging up all the time. This one however is much easier to clean with either a simple tap on the trash can or by using a napkin or paper towel. My life just became easier!

> 3 dayIt’s a first choosing this material. I thought it would be easy to clean than the plastic drain but I was wrong. The holes was too tiny and everything stuck in it. I had to buy a brush to clean it.

Greater than one weekI think this is going to be a good purchase. Catching smaller stuff that slipped through my other drain.

> 3 dayThese sink baskets are better than the wire mesh model. The basket is easier to clean and last longer as it is not easily damaged during cleaning.

> 3 dayReplaces an insinkerator disposer (badger 5) with an American standard and the drain flaps were to close to my regular sink strainer so it inhibited water flow. This one was shallow but wider to allow water to flow without making contact with the rubber disposer drain flaps.
