Great alternative when you dont have a garbage disposal. Nothing sticks to it like cheese, egg or other sticky foods. Just put it in the dishwasher to clean.

I was surprised to how nice this simple strainer was for the price. Good quality, it has a nice weight to it, very easy to remove without any fuss, and it cleans up with just a simple rinse. Would definitively get again, solid recommendation.

Moved into a new place that doesn’t have a garbage disposal under our kitchen sink unfortunately, so this is just what we needed to prevent food bits from clogging the drain. I just empty it into the trash bin and wipe it out before returning it back to the sink. Sturdy and fits perfectly! Love how it comes with two, so I have a replacement on hand when the first one is done.

I purchased these because I had my sink clog up from pushing too much stuff through the garbage disposal. Our municipality has also finally added compostable garbage collection bins, so I wanted some drain covers to catch the larger food bits before they went down the drain. These are great! They are really sturdy, fit the covers perfectly, and match the stainless steel of the sink. There are also two of them, one for each sink drain. When they get really dirty, its easy to wipe them down with some soap and water, and/or put them into the dishwasher, and they come out looking brand new. The holes are small enough to capture most large food scraps, but large enough that small crumbs and any stray coffee grinds pass through and dont clog everything up. And the wide brims allow me to easily tap out the collected food scraps into a compost collection bin. Overall Im very satisfied.

Used these strainers to replace some old outdated ones. I was impressed with their placement in the sink. They covered the opening like they were an original part of the system. They also were very efficient in catching any debris before it went down the drain.
