This is the second set of these I have ordered, I really dont need the thermostat but its cute. But I have ran these in all my bigger cages for my bigger snakes and they are spot on. Just be sure you have an anti-scald cage around them to protect your critters from burns. You cant go wrong with the price either..just 1 100w che at big box stores costs minimum $30....cant recommend enough.

I have this as a 24/7 heat source for my adult bearded dragon accompanied by a red 50 watt red night bulb and 150 watt day time basking light. So far it seems to work out well to maintain a consistent temp for his 75 gal. long tank. Something I have struggled with for years at this point. Time will tell how long they hold up but for the price, if they last as long or slightly longer than the traditional bulbs, I would say theyre surly worth it. The peace of mind knowing there is no chance of them popping, potentially getting broken glass in the tank as well is also a big plus for me. Having to have a total of 5-6 lights mounted on the tank (3 being UV) any way to eliminate a running bulb is great considering these put off no light whatsoever.

Get to a solid 95-98° Basking temp from about 15inches away from the surface. Works great for species that need a constant heat gradient but heat mats and a daytime basking bulb are a pain to maintain. So having a single creaming emitter plus ambient daytime lighting has saved a bit of a hassle. I burned my finger on it.

These are great I use them for my bearded dragon enclosure and to provide heat for Dubai and super worm colonies. Does the trick last a long time!

Decided to get these because the regular heat lamps that emit a red light were messing with my Beardies sleep patterns. Put this in, and hes back to being awake during the day and sleeping at night. This is great as the Beardie is a class pet, which means I NEED him up during the day so that the students can learn from him.

I really liked how this product came with two heat lamps although I ended up not using the second one but my two ducklings absolutely loved it. I would’ve liked if it had different settings but it did a really good job!

Lasted about 6 months each... Wouldve hoped for longer.
