I was able to place only one of the two . The other one just will not adhere to any surface at all. We tried wetting it no go we used alcohol to clean surface and let it dry before trying to place it it just would not work I really needed the product to work as I’m handicapped and need the safety feature really disappointed with it

I have 4x4 tile in my bathtub/shower and these installed well to add safety for me after a recent surgery. I have purchased others in the past that the suction cup span was either a little too long or short for 4x4 in tiles.

I bought these grab bars for my Dads shower as hes closing in on 90 and his balance isnt what it was. The package clearly states that the bars are for grabbing, not supporting ones own weight. I told my Dad not to swing like a monkey on these things and saw an unexpected gleam in his eye. It is my opinion that he did exactly that the minute I left his home, but the suction on these grab bars is so great that I bet theyd hold, even on his Formica shower insert. The clips were a little hard to press in, which actually made me happy. My dad is persnickety and I think hed constantly reposition the bars until they were exactly perpendicular to the floor and parallel to each other. His face fell a little when he saw me putting my weight into fastening the clips, so I think hell leave them alone... and now he also feels confident grabbing onto them.

They vacuum stuck right to the wall of my shower and I love them.
