Excellent grade A pure copper sheet. I had expected it to be thicker (is .040) but it worked fine for my application.

The only reason for less than 5 star is to draw attention to the hardness of the plate in re. Engraving, embossing or cutting. If one seeks to engrave or deboss/emboss, look for a much thinner plate (5 mil or at the most 8mil) or use a real copper foil. A very strong laser is necessary for engraving, or cutting designs. Some special CNC machines can engrave. These are high quality solid thicker copper plates.

Sold as 99.99% pure. In reality, this is thinly-plated, non-ferrous metal. I am finished dealing with Amazon, period!
