19-11-2024Bought these to share wedding photos with with different family households (Grandparents/aunts/and parents). Got them on sale for Black Friday and wish I would have ordered two then. Price has since gone back up but might end up buying again as they work perfectly for this purpose. They flash when plugged in and I find that a bit annoying but at least I know when it is working!

> 3 dayUnfortunately these are only ok and even then I would not store vital info on them for long term. Using on a Windows machine is more reliable but take care to properly eject from a Mac. If you dont the drive will become corrupt and unusable -Ive only come across this problem with cheap flash drives like these. If I were more of a technical wizard Id be able to explain why this is but Im not so will not. :) I use a Macbook Air on location and usually store a copy of the shoot on a flash drive for various reasons mostly security. Problem is if the drive gets bumped (easily done) and loses its connection the data/drive becomes useless. However if I use a well known (SanDisk) FD I dont have the same problem, for one thing the connection feels more solid. Having said all that the drives arent terrible and are useful for supplying clients whose security protocols discourage delivery via web services, with their images. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative for short term/deliverable storage, try these but be careful with them around Macs.

Greater than one weekI love that these things are so compact. I used them to transport a large document that couldnt be emailed due to its large size. Would make a great place for extra storage as well. Easy to use.
