Greater than one weekThese are great drives, however, if you want to save large video or photo files you will have to format the drives to NTFS as they are pre-configured to FAT 32. If you try to store a large capacity file, the drive will reject it unless it is in the NTFS format.

> 3 dayI am a pro photographer and wanted to give our brides and grooms their images on a small thumb drive instead of the 8 or16 GB Brand names. I ordered these and they should easily hold a wedding but after loading in around 100 images they would not hold any more. I had reduced the size of the images to less than 2MB each so the drives should have easily held the images. I tried 2 with the same results and sent them back. Not worth the money. If they are truly 1GB there should have been no problem.
