> 24 hourI love to find rocks and tumble them. Many rockhounds are using this type of media now, so iI ordered this to see how it would work. I started with my rotary tumbler about 3/4 full and added these to fill in the spaces. I am tumbling various sizes of quartz, a hard material. I have not completely finished the tumbling process yet, but have just finished stage two. So far, I think this is doing a good job. I will update this post when I have gone through the entire process. I gave this four stars because it is HEAVY

> 24 hourThese are great. They are ferris stainless I think because a magnet will pick them up if I drop a few. They clean brass amazingly well.

> 24 hourFinally got around to trying these in my wet tumbler. Theyre just as good as more expensive offerings from your local shop. Recommended if youre trying to put together a loading setup on a budget.

> 24 hourFor brass cartridge tumbling, this is the way to go. You need to deprime first if you want primer pockets cleaned. These pins will scrub you cases inside and out like new. Amazing how good they work. Use with hot water and lemi shine. Please have a good tub to work in when separating pins from cases. These little pins will go everywhere if your not careful. Dont try to do this in a washtub or sink without some kind of very fine screen over the drain or you will lose a bunch of them. A big magnet is a big help. They dont polish cases very bright. If you want your cases super shiny, follow up with a vibratory cleaner and add some rouge to it.

> 24 hourSOOO MUCH BETTER than vibrating with shell/cobb media! cases come out clean and shiny with clean primer pockets, something Im picky about. Worked good in my rock tumbler so I am going to step up to a full time case tumbler and get another bottle of pins. Just do it!

> 24 hourThis looks like its going to be perfect to use for brass cleaning in the small tumbler that I have. Unfortunately, the lid came off during shipping and I had to reclaim about half the bottle from the pouch that it was shipped in.

> 24 hourI use a rotary tumbler and have been using ceramic and plastic tumbling media. This is my first time trying stainless steel and it gives me a wonderful shine that I wasnt achieving with the other materials. This is a quality product, it came ready-to-use, in a nice reusable container, and Im happy with the results.

> 24 hourI wet tumble a lot of brass and this steel media makes light work of that. Two pounds of this media is the perfect size for my machine. I mix these pins with 4 pounds of brass and in 2 hours all my brass looks new. A must for the reloader in your life.

> 24 hourThe quality looks good and consistent. I soaked a few in salty water and they remained rust free which means its good stainless steel. 2 pounds doesnt take up much volume so you might need more if youre trying to fill up a tumbler. 2 pounds is plenty for my needs.

> 24 hourI had never used pins always, ground medias like walnut shells, these work really well and really get hard inclusions off the surface of what you are trying to clean/smooth. I was worried the harder material might cause scratches but have yet to encounter any marring.
