I used these to plug the bottoms of square metal bar stool legs that Id shortened, and they fit perfectly. I just used a small hammer to tap them in, and they now look like they were designed to be part of the bar stools. When ordering, make sure you follow the instructions - use the inside diameter of the object you plan to use them with.
