I bought this because it came with the case, screen protector, & stylus. It arrived quickly, but from the moment I tore open the shipping envelope the whole package smelled of cigarettes. The smell got even worse when I opened the actual box the products was in. And I dont mean just a little stinch. Im talking about the smell of cigarettes from your great-aunts, whos smoked for 50 years, couch pillows stinch. It was terrible! I sprayed the case with Lysol & let it air out for two days. Sprayed it again, & let it sit again. After a week the smell still took your breath away, so we ended up trashing the case. The screen protector worked well & the stylus is good, which is the only reason I can give this product a second star.

The case was as described and held my day, charger, and games fine.

I didnt put touch screen protectors, but its perfect for my daughter to hold her nitendo ds xl and games. And its a pretty sturdy case not a basic cloth

The case itself is fine if not a bit snug (charger cord does not fit very well with the ds inside as well), but apparently the zipper/fabric & the brand on top are the wrong color. It’s not even close to matching the turquoise of the console. It’s more of a true blue. I looked at photos from other reviews & they all seem to be perfect matches. Even the stylus that came with the case is the correct color. The pics I included really don’t do the differences justice. Not sure if this is enough for me to return it for another case, because it seems like I just received a defective one, but I am kind of disappointed that my ds won’t have a matching case as expected when it was purchased. Update: 2 months after purchase & one of the elastic straps that holds the ds on the inside has snapped off of one side.

The case seems sturdy enough, but the cartridge holder is a little stiff and awkwardly placed. The stylus sleeve directly above the cartridge pockets makes it difficult to close, and causes the back end of the case to bulge.

It has lots of space

Purchased this for my black turquoise n2dsxl. My n2dsxl has the Hori duraflexi tpu body case protector and it did not fit well into this case. I modified the case and removed the sleeve that holds the games. I sewed a tiny velcro onto the mesh pouch so I can keep some games with cases tucked inside so nothing falls out. With these modifications I am now able to fit my n2dsxl, 2 games that are in single 3DS game cases and the provided stylus tucked between the device and zipper (awkward I know, but it closes better than housing it inside the mesh). I love the exterior handle and overall feel of the case. The blue zipper does not match the black turquoise n2dsxl exactly, but it will do. I have not used the screen protectors as I already have screen protectors on my device.

This is an absolutely wonderful looking case and comes with all the bells and whistles. Although the bottom protection screen didn’t allow the touch sensitive screen to function, it wasn’t what I purchased this case for. Also the top screen protector works just fine. Anyways I easily filled up all the game cartridge slots and inserted my 2DS New, a pair of earphones, and a microfiber lens cloth only to find that the case had trouble closing. Sure the case conformed to the items in there without problem but a good case shouldn’t have to feel as though it’s capacity is far below what is to be expected. It feels as though when the case is closed extra pressure is being placed against the game cartridges which is definitely a no-go. In addition, just a minor pet peeve; it indeed comes with a stylus but one that is far too large to fit the 2DSNew so consequently there are no elastic bands to hold compatible sized replacements. All In all however this is a decent case that fits the color scheme of my 2DSNew but I would have rather wished the makers were a tad more mindful of the space.

My son loves his 2ds. Product came new & in mint condition. Bought this to replace a 3ds & couldnt of been more happier with our choice. Worth the money & have no regrets.
