The case is great! Very solid, compact, and stylish. Holds several games and a stylus is included. The screen protector did not work for us, but the company offered a refund for that part of the order. We are happy with our purchase!

It is portable and the screen protectors are big enough to be cut to fit on many things here, but they didnt fit my ds, nor did my ds fit comfortably inside the case. I wish I knew more specific kinds of nintendo dss. Whomever thought to have different sizes and kinds of nintendo dss, should have had numbers or specified names with them. I would say 4 1/2 on my rating, but my curser wont do that. Thank you for checking to see if I like it or not and a special thanks for seeing if you could help in any way to make things better!

Functionally, the case is fine. It zips well and I believe it would keep the system and a few games safe if I accidentally dropped it. That being said, my 2dsxl has a very thin plastic casing on it, and when I put it in this carry case it seems like its a really tight fit, and thats without any games in the case! The makers definitely did not account for the user maybe having a 1 mm case on their system when they were making this product. It also wouldnt be able to contain your -whole- system (ds, games, charger). This would maybe be okay if this was just for travel or something. Most annoyingly though, it smells HORRID - almost like it came from a house where the residents spent all their time blowing cigarette smoke directly at it. I do like how it came with screen protectors, but I havent used them yet so I cant attest to how well they work. Ill probably return this item and buy a different case if I can find something better. Alsoooo this is just aesthetics but the blue on the case isnt the same blue thats on the ds (the case trim is darker, more like a royal blue instead of the turquoise thats on the system), so if youre a sucker for matching things then this isnt for you, haha. Update 3/14/18: Seller contacted me directly right after this review was posted and offered a full refund without me having to return the product, which was very nice of them. Also, after a day of sitting in the sun the case smells slightly better, so I hope it will be useable soon.

This is an absolutely wonderful looking case and comes with all the bells and whistles. Although the bottom protection screen didn’t allow the touch sensitive screen to function, it wasn’t what I purchased this case for. Also the top screen protector works just fine. Anyways I easily filled up all the game cartridge slots and inserted my 2DS New, a pair of earphones, and a microfiber lens cloth only to find that the case had trouble closing. Sure the case conformed to the items in there without problem but a good case shouldn’t have to feel as though it’s capacity is far below what is to be expected. It feels as though when the case is closed extra pressure is being placed against the game cartridges which is definitely a no-go. In addition, just a minor pet peeve; it indeed comes with a stylus but one that is far too large to fit the 2DSNew so consequently there are no elastic bands to hold compatible sized replacements. All In all however this is a decent case that fits the color scheme of my 2DSNew but I would have rather wished the makers were a tad more mindful of the space.

The case itself is fine if not a bit snug (charger cord does not fit very well with the ds inside as well), but apparently the zipper/fabric & the brand on top are the wrong color. It’s not even close to matching the turquoise of the console. It’s more of a true blue. I looked at photos from other reviews & they all seem to be perfect matches. Even the stylus that came with the case is the correct color. The pics I included really don’t do the differences justice. Not sure if this is enough for me to return it for another case, because it seems like I just received a defective one, but I am kind of disappointed that my ds won’t have a matching case as expected when it was purchased. Update: 2 months after purchase & one of the elastic straps that holds the ds on the inside has snapped off of one side.

Good case, could be a little thicker for plug.

My only wish is that this could hold the cord for the game system. Other then it works well and functions great for what it was made for.

Love this case but if I had to fix one thing.. it’s to make the top compartment be enclosed with a zipper. Everything falls out all the time and it’s very annoying. But besides that a very durable case.

So to answer the questions I had, yes it fits with the default charger, though its tight, and yes it fits with the default charger AND the glass cover for the top, if you own that accessory. Its an even tighter fit but you can manage it and I now have a safe, secure DS with a charger and a few games whenever I need. Recommended 5/5
